The new railway station in Hof was opened on April 1st, 1880. A historical date also for M&M. For on this day, the school buddies Werner Münch and Richard Militzer, decided to found a joint transportation company, and they moved to the new station, under the name of Militzer & Münch. Militzer & Münch was appointed Royal Bavarian Transporter at the new trains station.
